Real ale drinkers will raise a toast to the 15th annual Watford Beer Festival, which begins next week.
More than 70 different brews will be served at West Herts Sports Club, in Park Avenue, at the event, organised by the Watford branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA).
Andrew Vaughan, branch chairman, said: “It goes from strength to strength. We had just enough beer last year so we have ordered a few more. Many people are now choosing real ales rather than other drinks because of their great taste.”
The festival runs from 4pm to 11pm on Thursday, November 19; and on Friday, November 20 and Saturday, November 21 from 11am to 11pm.
Entry is £2 or free to CAMRA and West Herts Sports Club members.
