A MAN from Watford has been arrested after a man was allegedly attacked during an argument involving a gang of men and women on bonfire night in Hatfield last week.
Police have appealed for witnesses after it is believed the altercation in Lemsford Road resulted in a man falling to the ground before being hit on the head.
Officers were called to the suspected fight after being alerted by a couple who they are interested to speak to.
PC Stuart Gunstone said: “I would particularly like to speak to a couple who alerted a police patrol car to the incident.
“They were pushing a buggy and saw what was happening.”
- A 28-year-old man from Watford has been arrested in connection with this incident and is on police bail.
