After a long bleak winter the Sun was shining on Sun Postal as Wasps prepared to face a Bury team that is top of the league and have averaged more than eight goals per game this season; the same Bury team that had put eleven goals past the Wasps earlier in the campaign.
In a pitch that was far from perfect the visitors notched up two well worked goals which took them to a half-time lead. 0-2.
The second half saw the more of the Wasps determination but despite several shots on goal they never quite found the back of the net. The Bury team also made numerous attempts on goal but only managed one more goal.
Despite the score-line this was the Wasps best performance of the season against formidable opposition.
