ELVIS fanatic Sid Shaw is all shook up about his new project a chain of Elvis-themed restaurants.
Mr Shaw, from Radlett, owns Elvisly Yours of Baker Street and has planned the entire worldwide project from his office in Watford. Working with six other companies he intends to open a worldwide chain of Elvisly Yours Restaurants and is currently searching for more investment partners.
The restaurants will be top to bottom Elvis, from Stuck on You buffalo wings to Cool Shook Up vodka cocktails. A 25-foot-high animatronic Elvis will guard the restaurant entrance allowing entry through his legs, after which he will curl his lip and greet customers with the unmistakeable 'thankyouverymuch'.
Plans are already underway for the first restaurant in London, which will cost an estimated £3million. Mr Shaw hopes to open the London branch next year and follow it with branches across the world in cities such as Tokyo, Dublin and Berlin.
He said: "Since I have my own trademark of Elvisly Yours in 12 classes including restaurants we have the green light to go ahead. The designs are spectacular and the restaurant will become a new London landmark."
