Wood boss Micky Engwell is warning his players not to become complacent as they prepare to take on bottom-of-the-league Hampton & Richmond at home on Saturday.
He said: "Hampton are in a false position at the moment, they are a very good team."
But he still hoped to get three points from Saturday's match: "We've lost one out of our last ten matches now, and that is a good position to be in. If we just keep going the way we're going we should be okay."
He was pleased with players Lee Harvey, Garry Wotton, Brian Jones, who had all put in excellent performances against Basingstoke on Tuesday, and Gary Dixon who is now the Ryman Premier League's top goalscorer.
On Saturday, October 12, Wood will play Kingstonian in the FA Cup, following their victory over Maidstone at the weekend. The match will be covered by BBC TV's Football Focus.
