Preparations are underway for The Radlett Centre's 2002 Christmas Pantomime Cinderella.
A cast of eight professional adult actors and actresses will join around 40 children from Radlett, Borehamwood, Elstree and surrounding areas, to make this year's show the best ever staged at the village theatre.
Stephanie Cotter, from The Radlett Centre, said: "It will be a traditional panto, because that's what people want. There will be pantomime dames, men dressed up as women, and the lead male role will be played by a girl."
She said there were more children taking part in this year's show, and that the director had been astonished by the number of talented youngsters coming forward.
Performances will be staged from December 17 until January 4. Tickets will cost between £8.50 and £12. For information about booking tickets call 01923 859291.
