The concerns that Andrew Dismore MP has shown for the number of private dwellings as opposed to social housing being put forward for estate regeneration over in Hendon is shared by myself and many residents on Dollis Valley estate.
This estate is also earmarked for regeneration and I am concerned that the number of social housing units should not drop in favour of building new properties for sale.
A shortage of affordable housing in my ward is regularly reflected in the large numbers of residents I see who are having housing problems.
We have got to maintain and expand the numbers of affordable homes, not sell off large chunks of council land for private housing development.
