The Borehamwood company responsible for innovative degradable plastic shopping and rubbish bags was planning to place more shares on the stock market this week.
Symphony Plastic Technologies Plc, based in Elstree Way, last week applied to place three million new ordinary shares, at 30p per share, on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange.
Symphony directors Michael Laurier, Allan Blacher, Christopher Littmoden and Ian Bristow have acquired 233,332 of these shares, with the placing raising £900,000 for the group which will be used to meet working capital needs.
The company, which produces d2w-brand degradable plastic products, floated on the London Stock Exchange last year, and has won contracts with supermarkets including Tesco and Somerfield, and with councils including Manchester.
