Green charity Groundwork Hertfordshire is offering grants of up to £500 to groups and organisations who come up with projects to help communities and the environment.
The grants, supplied by the Department of Transport, Local Government and the Regions, will be given to projects that promote awareness of green issues, and encourage people living in towns to improve the environment.
