Tributes have been paid to retired Borehamwood GP Dr Dennis Goddard who died on Monday.
Dr Goddard was the senior partner at Fairbrook Medical Centre, in Borehamwood, when he retired ten years ago after a 30-year career in general practice.
The respected doctor, who was an active member of the community, was surrounded by his family when he died peacefully at his Elstree home, age 75, after a long illness.
He leaves a wife, Dr Ann Goddard, and four children.
His funeral will be held at St Nicholas Church. in Elstree, on Wednesday, October 9, at 2.30pm.
The family asks that, instead of flowers, donations be made to the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children or Macmillan Cancer Relief charities.
