NIGEL WRAY's decision to step down from Watford's boards follows the decision by directors to increase their contributions to the funds following the summer's financial crisis.
Chief executive Tim Shaw has already stated the directors will be investing further in the club and, with Wray already committed to Saracens, it would be unreasonable to expect him to spend further on football.
Wray, who is based in his words "increasingly abroad", said from his Belgian base this week: "I have actually been coming on a number of boards. I was on too many and cannot give them attention. I thought it time to go."
Oliver Phillips brings you up to date on all the news from Watford in this week's edition of The Watford Observer.
