APPROVAL was granted by St Albans District Council on Monday (August 19) for a garden centre, restaurant and hotel to be built in Barnet road, London Colney.
The application was put forward by Sainsbury's to build on the former Savacentre site between the existing petrol filling station and the main superstore.
The application was unanimously approved as there was no problems with amenities or visual impact and the proposal is in accordance with the district plan.
