POLICE arrested two men on suspicion of deception on Tuesday (August 20) after receiving several calls from shopkeepers in St Albans reporting people using fake Scottish notes.
A 56 year-old man and a 22-year-old man, both from London, were arrested outside Copperfield Maltings in Chequer Street at 2pm.
Both have been bailed to return to St Albans police station on October 1.
