St Albans jazz septet return for a special performance in support of Cancer Research UK and Heathlands School for The Deaf, fronted by Ellie Smith, who will sing of the Magna Carta, domestic servitude and revenge, in an eclectic set including tributes to Peggy Lee and Duke Ellington, with Christoph Egle's distinctive keyboard playing featured on the African and Latin jazz numbers; The White Hart Tap, Keyfield Terrace, St Albans; 8.30pm; admission free.
