A school holiday programme of games and activities is running at Borehamwood's Hertswood Centre from Mondays to Fridays, until August 30, excluding the bank holiday, with a Summer Day Camp, for eight to 13-year-olds, and a Kiddie Kamp, for five to eight-year-olds. Activities include swimming, cricket, football, trampolining and rounders. Booking forms are available from the centre, in Potters Lane and The Venue, in Borehamwood's Elstree Way. The Hertswood Centre is also organising day excursions for eight to 13-year-olds, with: Thorpe Park on Friday, August 9; It's a Knockout competition, at Bushey Grove leisure centre, on Friday, August 16; Chessington World of Adventures on Friday, August 23.
