BUSHEY Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) will be holding an open day in September as part of Advice Week, which celebrates the work of CABs across the UK.
Eighty-five per cent of people working for the CAB are volunteers and the charity needs more.
Volunteers are needed as advisers, clerical assistants and receptionists and the charity also needs fundraisers and publicists.
The three CABs in Hertsmere will be holding open days in September so residents can see what volunteering for the CAB involves.
There will be opportunities to meet existing volunteers and to find out about the excellent training programme.
Bushey CAB's open day will take place on Tuesday, September 10, from 2pm to 4pm at the bureau at 8 Rudolph Road, Bushey.
There will an open day at Potters Bar CAB in The Wyllyotts Centre, Potters Bar, the same day, from noon to 3pm, and one at Elstree and Borehamwood CAB, The Community Centre, Allum Lane, Elstree, on Wednesday, September 11, from 2pm to 4pm.
For more information, telephone Ms Linda Blain on 020 8953 9961.
