A six-wicket haul by teenage off-spinner Duncan Wood and an unbeaten 78 from opening batsman Mark Saunders steered Mill Hill Village to a nine-wicket mauling of Calthorpe last Saturday.
Wood (6-43) and Andy Brazill (3-19) caused Calthorpe to crash from 101-1 to 145 all out.
Openers Saunders and Andy Fish (45) ensured that the Village's promotion hopes remained on track. With three games remaining, the Village are 21 points adrift of second-placed West Harrow, who they meet on Saturday.
- In Division One, Mill Hill lost to Harrow St Mary's by four runs. Harrow St Mary's 192 (H Goswami 4-40, H Sejpal 4-59), Mill Hill 288 (I Shafi 54).
Stanmore 173-7 Saffron Walden 174-9

Stanmore lost an exciting semi-final against Saffron Walden on Sunday by just a solitary wicket off the penultimate ball.
Alastair Fraser (56no) batted well as Stanmore reached 173-7, but they went out.
In the Middlesex County League on Saturday, Daminda Wijesekera (6-65 off 31 overs) bowled well as Richmond were dimissed for 167 in 68 overs.
Despite a fine innings by Mark Reingold (50no), Stanmore could only total 140.
Stanmore face Ealing twice this weekend, with Saturday's home league game followed by an away Evening Standard trophy quarter-final on Sunday.
