SPORT in Bishop's Stortford is set to become unified under a new umbrella group that is aimed at all levels of those involved in administrating sport across Hertfordshire.
The Hertfordshire Sport Partnership (HSP) is a new voluntary group that aims to bring clubs, individuals, coaches, schools, colleges and governing bodies closer together to implement sports development in the area, and perhaps provide help to tap into possible new areas of funding.
HSP will hold its first meeting on June 27 and Chairman Terry Osbourne said: "We want all of those involved in Hertfordshire Sport Partnership to work together to enhance the quality of sport on offer and identify how we can help each other."
