Borehamwood-based Pinnacle Insurance, which sponsors the town's annual Half Marathon and Fun Run, will be taking an active role in the event, to be staged on Sunday, June 23.
The firm's director of communications, Steve Devine, will be part of a team of five raising funds for the Borehamwood Citizen's Advice Bureau (CAB) in the event.
"This is the seventh consecutive year Pinnacle has sponsored this event and I've run in every one. It's a real bench mark for my levels of fitness as well as being great fun!
"Not only does this half marathon provide me with an exercise goal to aim for each year, it also gives me an opportunity to raise money for charity," he said.
