Elliotts paid the price for some costly mistakes in their County Cup match against Elleonorr Old Boys at the weekend.
The Borehamwood side were punished early in the game when the Old Boys scored from within their own half, with a shot which sailed over the goalkeeper's head
Elliotts then returned the favour with a fine individual effort from Danny Gruar. However, the Old Boys went back in front when Darren Oxley put the ball in his own net.
In the second half, Elliotts stepped up a gear and Gruar scored another finely-taken goal. But, in the end, they could not deny Elleonorr a decisive goal.
