Hertsmere dominated from the whistle and soon took the lead when Chris Darke hit the opener.
The second goal came from a long clearance from stand-in goalie Sam Fryer and Darke rounded the keeper.
Darke would have wrapped up his hat-trick, except for a fine save by the Oakhill keeper. From the resulting corner, taken by Chris Green, the flying Aaron Baker headed home.
Oakhill started the second half strongly and put Hertsmere under pressure, and they finally broke their duck with a neat move.
But the result was put beond doubt when Darke put the ball into the Oakhill net for his hat-trick.
