THE new year will see 12 countries in the European Union swap their national currency for the Euro.
In a bid to put all the old money to good use, Mr Nigel Guard, St Albans diocesan stewardship development officer, is asking residents to deliver any leftover foreign currency to their parish council so that it can be put to good use by the church.
