IN their fifth season of national competition, Watford Internet FC recorded their first tournament win at the recent Leicester M'Duck Cup.
In horrendous conditions, WIFC suffered an early defeat to Birmingham City, but victories over Lincoln City, Wolves, and a thrilling penalty shoot-out victory in the semi-final against Manchester United ensured WIFC progressed to the final against Peterborough United.
Such were the "near-Artic" conditions, both teams agreed to share the trophy.
