FOUR candidates will be fighting hard to win Nascot ward in Thursday's by-election.
Delayed by the death of Labour candidate Thomas Meldrum, voting will take place on Thursday, June 15.
The four prospective Watford Borough councillors are Angela Basit for the Conservative Party, Sally Ivins for the Green Party, Mohammed Riaz for the Labour Party and Mark Watkin for the Liberal Democrats.
The seat which is being contested used to be held by Conservative, Robert Gordon.
He has decided to step down from local government at district level, but remains a county councillor for Nascot and Park.
