The majority of primary schools in south-west Hertfordshire are meeting Government SATS targets, the latest league tables have revealed.
Schools across the country are now expected to see 60 per cent of pupils reach Level 4 in both maths and English – up from 55 per cent last year.
The Hertfordshire average is 78 per cent of pupils achieving this target, while the national average is 73 per cent.
Four schools in the area "boycotted" the exams.
