Women in Chorleywood are being warned to be on their guard after a series of indecent exposures.

Police said there have been four incidents in the Chorleywood Common area in the last six months all involving a suspect of a similar description.

The suspect is described as a black male of stocky build.

Hertfordshire Constabulary said the first exposure came in April, the second in May with two incidents reported last month.

The latest exposure happened on September 21 at 2.15pm on the common, off Rickmansworth Road.

PC Simon Craig, from the Rickmansworth Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “If you see any person in or around Chorleywood Common acting in a suspicious manner please call police on the emergency number – 999.”
