An aspiring writer from Flaunden Women’s Institute, has won a writing competition.
Society secretary Anna Hutton-North entered Hertfordshire Federation WI’s regional writing contest and won with her 500-word short story.
The piece, entitled “WI in 2025” was considered by regional judges and will now be sent on to the national competition for the Lady Denham prize.
Ms Hutton-North was presented with the Stirling Cup at the Hertfordshire Federation WI meeting in Broxbourne Civic Centre, by Federation President Vivienne Hodgson.
