A woman had to be cut from her car last night after crashing into a lamp-post in Watford.
The East of England Ambulance Service and Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue were called to Churchfields Road at 9.06pm after several 999 calls about the crash.
Ambulance crews from Watford and Hemel Hempstead attended.
Ambulance representative Gary Sanderson said: "The woman was trapped in the vehicle.
"Paramedics worked closely with the fire service to treat, stabilise and remove her smoothly from the car to the ambulance and she was taken to Watford General Hospital for further care."
Her injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
