Pupils from schools in Radlett and Bushey served up some spectacular tennis on Sunday, managing to win top awards at The Drive Lawn Tennis Club.
Mayor of Barnet Brian Schama presented six-year-olds Joshua Larholt-Jones from Radlett Prep and Sam Cohen from Hartsbourne School, Bushey, with medals for winning in the "Under-8s" section.
Meanwhile eight-year-old Aminat Lawal from St Margaret’s school, Bushey, received a trophy for winning in the "Under 14s".
The club, based in Edgware, introduced a finals day junior tournament for the first time this year and were delighted that so many children attended from the Hertfordshire area.
A special prize, "The Bernice Cowan Award for most improved player," was presented to Daniel Miller who attends Yavneh College in Borehamwood.
