Officials from Kings Langley will be presented with a plaque tomorrow to celebrate their village of the year success.

Last month, Kings Langley won the regional award for the west of Hertfordshire.

The plaque that the village won will be unveiled on High Street at 10.15am and will later be placed on a huge pole in the village, once the pole has been refurbished.

The presentation will be made by Sir Simon Bowes Lyon, President of the Hertfordshire branch of Campaign to Protect Rural England, along with Mike Penning MP, Cllr Jane Pitman, the chairman of Hertfordshire County Council and the CPRE judges,
