A man has denied assault in connection with an incident where a woman travelling in a car in Garston was allegedly attacked.
Jamie McCarville, from Lord Street, appeared at St Albans Magistrates' Court yesterday, charged with assault and using threatening or abusive words.
He pleaded not guilty to both charges, which relate to an alleged attack which took place in Garston Lane on Thursday June 21 at around 3.30pm.
McCarville will return to St Albans Magistrates' court on September 7.
