A pensioners’ group is having social trip to Stratford-upon-Avon funded by Hertfordshire County Council .
North Bushey Pensioner’s Voice, a social club for pensioners aged 70 and over, is due to receive £470 to make the trip to see the birthplace of Shakespeare.
The money was being given to the group as part of the council’s locality grant scheme.
