A Radlett school which caters for children with special needs has been handed a £1,500 grant from Hertfordshire County Council to pay for new play equipment.
Radlett Lodge, in Harper Lane, cares for children with autism. It will use the cash to help pay for a bubble play tube, a wall activity panel and special rug.
The council provided the cash through its locality budget. Launched in July 2009, funding from locality budgets are to be used by the council for worthy social, economic or environmental causes in Hertfordshire.
