A fire engine truck pull, car deadlifts and a loading medley will just be some of the highlights at this weekend’s competition to find Watford’s strongest man.
Spartan Gym in Sandown Road will hold a competition to find the strongest man in Watford to raise money towards Watford Peace Hospice.
Rob Frampton, worlds strongest man competitor will be the guest judge at the event which includes an under- 105kg competition and an open competition.
Paul Joseph, host of the event, said: "This is a really good opportunity to raise money for a great local charity.
"We hope to see as many people as possible at the competition, whether they are taking part or just coming to watch."
Residents are invited to come along to the competition on Saturday, October 6, from 10am at the rear of Greycaine House in Greycaine Road.
