FIFA fans across the country are struggling to access the game today.
According to Downdetector, there has been a spike in issues reported from around 1pm this afternoon, with 83% of customers reporting server connection issues.
One customer, Barrie Cleere, commented: “Just bought FIFA points when this went down any ideas when it will be back up?”

Downdetector is also reporting a significantly higher number of problem reports than is typical for EA (Electronic Arts).
The FIFA franchise is a football simulation game developed by EA and published under the EA Sports brand so the issues with FIFA are likely to be connected.

FIFA Direct Communication has posted on Twitter to confirm they are players are encountering issues.
We're aware some players are encountering issues accessing the Transfer Market and Store within FUT 22.
