Watford have refused to comment on the futures of out of contract players Fitz Hall and Manuel Almunia plus some of the loanees from last season.

Hall and Almunia were among those not included in the list of released players which was published by the Golden Boys at the beginning of June.

The futures of the other three - Jonathan Bond, Lloyd Doyley and John Eustace - were made clearer last week but Hall and Almunia are out of contract as of today.

The Hornets refused to comment on whether the club are in contract talks with the duo when asked once again by the Watford Observer this morning.

The futures of several of the loan players from last season also remain unclear although there have been positive indications on Twitter.

There are pictures of Marco Cassetti, Almen Abdi and Daniel Pudil in Watford training kit on the club's pre-season trip to Italy.

Former Manchester United defender Reece Brown, who was released this summer and is brother of ex-England international Wes, has also been pictured in Hornets clothing.

Watford refused to confirm if any of the players have joined the club or are simply training with the squad for pre-season.
