Watford Ladies Under-12 Harts extended their unbeaten run to seven matches as they defeated Bury Rangers 3-2.
Bury opened the scoring but the Hornets then went ahead as Emma Calabrese netted twice in quick succession.
Roma Agnihotri extended the Harts’ lead with an outstanding free-kick but Bury pulled a goal back.
However, Watford were able to see out the game and clinch victory. Jessica Gough was named player of the match.
The Under-12 Hornets defeated Hoddesdon Owls 4-3.
Ciara Purdue, Kelsey Mugford, Sasha Williams and Eloise Waring all found the net to seal the win for the Golden Girls.
The Under-11s suffered a disappointing 11-1 loss against Denham Wildcats. Charlotte Clark grabbed the Watford consolation.
Hannah Perkins scored a hat-trick, Charlotte and Emelia Barton netted a goal apiece and Jessica Cripps and Carys Harvey each bagged a brace for the Under-10s against Hoddeson Owls.
The older age groups didn’t fare well.
Chole Frame netted for the Under-18s as they were beaten 5-1 by Islington Borough while the Under-16 Wasps lost 2-0 at home to Enfield Town.
The Under-14s lost 1-0 to Luton Town with the efforts from Courtney Brunette seeing her named player of the match.
