Watford were deservedly beaten at Charlton Athletic on Tuesday evening after a well-taken brace from Callum Harriott but who was the best Hornets performer?
The Hornets were second-best for much of the game, with Troy Deeney’s stunning equaliser a rare bright spot on a dismal evening for Beppe Sannino’s side.
Deeney led the line well, with first Ikechi Anya and latterly Mathias Ranegie, and scored a memorable 24th goal of a fruitful campaign.
Midfield duo Cristian Battocchio and Daniel Tozser also impressed, along with Sean Murray, who came close scoring with an effort from 25 yards.
