Watford will make a decision on trialist Serbian defender Vujadin Savic in the next few days.
The 24-year-old, who was released by Bordeaux last summer, played an hour for Watford’s Under-21 side in midweek in the Under-21 Premier League Cup win against Leeds United.
“I have known him (Savic) for many years,” Hornets boss Slavisa Jokanovic explained on Thursday. “He arrived here to train and we will decide whether it is best for us for him to stay or not.
“We are going to make our decision in a few days.”
Savic started his career at Red Star Belgrade but joined Bordeaux in 2010. He spent four years with the club but made just 11 first-team appearances before leaving the French side in the summer.
