THM Racing will join the field for the 2015 Milltek Sport Volkswagen Racing Cup after enjoying success during the 2014 edition.
The Watford-based outfit contested last year’s competition and picked up a win in the championship finale at Donnington Park in September.
Racing director Steve Parkinson said: “We had a great time in the Volkswagen Racing Cup in 2014 despite a challenging start, but then to finish the year with a victory in our first year of return to the championship, it was extremely positive for us.
“We really did want to compete in all seven rounds of 2015 but our pre-arranged commitments won’t allow that, however, we are certainly going to be at most of the rounds.”
He added: “We know who will be driving and will announce that shortly.
“Needless to say he is very quick, highly competitive and knows how to win races.”
The 2015 Milltek Sport Volkswagen Racing Cup starts on Easter weekend, April 4, at Oulton Park in Cheshire.
