Old Merchant Taylors’ drew their match at Tring Park after being set a target of 226 for seven declared.
In reply, Kavir Vedd, who had earlier run out Matthew Bowyer while he was on 80, hit nine fours and a six in his excellent 71 before he was caught by Andrew Dixon in O.M.T’s 194 for eight.
Division Six A
Owen Bidder took six for 61 to reduce Chalfont St Peter to 168 for nine off 42.5 overs as Old Merchant Taylors’ Seconds enjoyed a nine wicket win.
Rahul Patel, with 60 not out and Kavit Patel, who went five better while still carrying his bat, helped O.M.T surpass this with Suhel Virmani their only man to fall after putting on 26.
