Ikechi Anya and Craig Cathcart have been called up to the Scotland and Northern Ireland squad respectively for the next round of 2016 European Championship qualifiers.
Cathcart, who has excelled in Watford’s defence this season, will link up with the Northern Ireland squad who travel to the Faroe Islands on Friday, September 4. They then welcome Hungary to Belfast’s Windsor Park on Monday, September 7.
Anya has been an impressive performer for Scotland in the past year and he will hope to be in the Tartan Army side who take on Georgia in Tblisi on Friday, September 4.
Scotland, who are third in Group D, then take on world champions Germany at Glasgow’s Hampden Park on Monday, September 7.
