Watford Ladies are all but guaranteed to finish bottom of the Women’s Super League 2 standings after a 4-0 humbling at local rivals London Bees on Saturday.
Victory for the Bees means John Salomon’s side now trail the north Londoners by eight points with three games to play.
After a quiet opening period Ashleigh Goddard put the Bees in front at The Hive by steering into the bottom right-hand corner eight minutes before the break.
Lucy Loomes added a second on the stroke of half time before Gemma Fraser drove home from 20 yards.
The fourth came at the death, Andria Georgiou completing the rout from close range.
