Northwood booked a home tie with Ipswich Wanderers in the next round of the FA Cup following a 3-2 win against Great Wakering Rovers.
"The scoreline flattered them," said Northwood manager Tony Choules. "It actually turned out to be an easy match."
Lawrence Yaku scored a brace to put the visitors 3-1 ahead after Andy Cook's goal had been equalised.
Choules' team will have a sterner test on Saturday, September 22, when league leaders Harlow Town are the visitors, before a Tuesday night (25) encounter with Bromley.
