Watford were dumped out of the Herts Senior Cup after being thrashed 5-1 at Bishop's Stortford in the second round tonight.
The hosts opened the scoring after just nine minutes when goalkeeper Andrew Thomas parried a cross into his own net.
The Blues extended their lead six minutes later after Thomas conceded a penalty and Dean Morgan converted the penalty.
But the Hornets were handed a lifeline before the break when they were awarded a spot-kick and Ogo Obi netted the penalty.
Watford conceded another own goal after the break when a cross was turned into his own net by Connor Stevens.
The Blues continued to dominate and were rewarded with a fourth goal late on through a close-range effort from Femi Akinwande.
A miserable night for Watford was completed in the 90th minute when Elliott Ronto scored from 20 yards.
Watford: Thomas; Sesay, Ryan, Stevens, Eleftheriou; Stewart, Ovenden, Charles; Pereira, Adeyemo, Obi
