Miguel Britos will miss Watford's next two games after picking up his second dismissal of the season against West Brom last night.

The Uruguayan was sent off with 22 minutes of the game left to play for two bookable offences, after he was adjudged to have hauled down Salomon Rondon as the substitute ran goalwards with the ball.

Because Britos was previously sent off against Stoke back in November, he will be ruled out of both this weekend's trip to Spurs, as well as the visit of Swansea City on April 15.

Sebastian Prodl will also miss Saturday's game with no indication whether he will return in time for the Swans clash.

The enforced omissions leaves Walter Mazzarri short-staffed at the back for one of Watford's toughest tests of the season, but he took the situation with good grace when asked how he will deal with the situation.

"I hope we will take confidence from the West Brom game into Saturday - but only if I manage to find some defenders to play, because I lost one in the last game one, and another two today.

"I need to find a formation and we lost Britos for two yellow cards which were unfair.

"We are not missing only Prodl, but also Britos and Kaboul. Even though we missed Kaboul, we didn’t concede against West Brom which was good, but we will miss them all at Tottenham."
