Watford could be without Adrian Mariappa on Sunday as the club's defensive injury crisis deepens ahead of their final game of the season.
Mariappa picked up a knock in training yesterday, which could yet rule him out of the game with Manchester City at Vicarage Road.
Troy Deeney's potential absence also provides problems in attack, with the captain sidelined with a hip issue which has kept him out of training.
Elsewhere, Sebastian Prodl is already ruled out with suspension following the red card he picked up in Monday's defeat at Chelsea.
Miguel Britos could be in line for a return, but has missed the past three games with injury after hobbling off against Liverpool on May 1.
Younes Kaboul and Craig Cathcart's campaigns are both over already, after undergoing surgery in the past few weeks in readiness for next season.
