Austrian Under-21 goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann has become Watford's second signing of the summer.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to Vicarage Road for several weeks and has put pen to paper on a three-year deal, having spent the past six seasons at Stoke City.
The Hornets have been looking to add to their goalkeeping options as we have previously reported, but the Vienna-born stopper looks to have been signed with a view to the future, rather than providing immediate competition to Heurelho Gomes.
Capped 16 times at Under-21 level, Bachman has been on the bench for Austria's last two World Cup qualifiers and has spent time on loan at Bury, Ross County and Wrexham.
Delighted to have signed for @WatfordFC ! Can't wait to meet everyone at the club, all the fans and start working hard! ⚽️💪🏻 pic.twitter.com/qiTqfUhTiK

The young keeper moves to Watford a week after the club confirmed the acquisition of Derby County midfielder Will Hughes.
