Brazilian striker Richarlison will move to Watford this week, his current club's president has announced, with a fee in the region of £11.2 million agreed.
The 20-year-old Brazil Under-20 international did not travel with Fluminense for their latest game, instead jetting off to the UK on Sunday evening to undertake a medical with the Hornets.
He had been the subject of some significant interest from Eredivisie side Ajax, but the Dutch club were unable to table a bit to the satisfaction of Fluminense.
President Pedro Abad said: "Richarlison will not travel to face the next opponent. The exit is confirmed, he will play in Watford.
"It was all set on Friday, the last game would be on Sunday [yesterday]."
Richarlison already has 10 caps for Brazil Under-20s and has scored 15 goals for Fluminense in all competitions so far this season, which runs the length of 2017.
