Watford's Mauro Zarate has been given a place in the Hornets' Premier League squad after the club were granted dispensation for him to replace Leganes-bound Nordin Amrabat.
Zarate, who is currently recovering from a ruptured cruciate ligament injury he sustained against West Ham in February, was initially not listed among the club's 25-man squad, which would have ruled him out of contention until the new year.
However, following Amrabat's season-long loan to Spain, which was finalised shortly after the squadlist was confirmed on Friday, the Premier League have allowed head coach Marco Silva to swap the two players around.
Zarate played 45 minutes of a behind-closed-doors friendly against Millwall on Friday, his first first-team action of any kind since suffering the injury.
Since his move to Watford from Fiorentina on transfer deadline day in January, the 30-year-old played just 206 minutes of top-flight football before suffering his injury.
